Traditional and historic buildings

It could be the restoration of a stone fireplace or the laying a natural stone floor; stone cladding or the complete internal remodelling and renovation of a traditional building. In every case, we use a combination of traditional stonemasonry skills and modern technology and safety practices to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard with minimal disruption.

Modern buildings

We also work in a more modern setting, providing high quality workmanship to bring stone, marble and reclaimed wooden and architectural antiques into new houses and buildings. From fireplaces to marble bathrooms and stone walls our services enhance the design of new properties. We will consider any inspired ideas: a client once asked us to convert a number of pews recovered from a church into a library in her home to great effect.

Thomas was very responsive to what I wanted in terms of working with various pieces of old stone which I wanted to recycle as paving slabs around a lawn. Reliable and very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Stone looks great and I am very pleased with the work. No hesitation to recommend and I am hoping to use him again for another project.

Thomas and his team re-built our boundary wall which had been blown over by Storm Arwen. They did a fantastic job over 3 weeks using re-claimed bricks, and the result matches in perfectly with the original wall built over 80 years ago. David did a brilliant job of moulding the coping so that it matched and fitted in with the original coping. They are such a professional team, turning up at 7.30am every day, always cheery and very hard working. We are very pleased with the finished product. We would highly recommend.

Thomas and his team replaced some stones on the exterior wall of my listed house and removed some crumbling mortar before fixing the gaps. The end result is great – it blends in with the rest of the building perfectly and they were professional throughout the process.
