Tweedmouth Parish Church

Covering a wide area stretching over Scotland and England we carry out many projects in and around Berwick-upon-Tweed. Situated less than one hour south of  Edinburgh and one hour North of Newcastle it holds an abundance of historical stone buildings and is a must visit for any history or stonemasonry fan.

The current building replaces earlier churches on the site dating back to at least the 1145. The earliest parts of the building date to 1783 when earlier ruins were removed and the tower and nave built, possibly using some earlier fabric.

We were asked to carry out repointing, fit crack monitoring devices, replace stonework to repair large structural cracks and restore the tracery window conserving it for future generations to appreciate.
