Very happy with work completed on a listed building to repair damaged stonework around a window and preventative work to redress heavily weathered pointing.

Thomas completely replaced the platform at the top of my Colony steps, repaired some of the steps, repaired the walls on either side and repointed the walls along the pavement. Everything was colour matched to fit with the original steps and I’m delighted with the final result.
Thomas and his workers were really great, friendly and polite and worked so hard to do everything just right. Thomas kept me informed every step of the way, was very thorough when finishing off and made sure everything was tidied up. A very positive experience!

We have used Thomas and his team several times do undertake stonework and other external repairs at Abbeyhill Baptist Church in Edinburgh. The front landing of our colony house was about to collapse and in need of urgent replacement. Several tradesmen looked at the situation but vey few appeared confident about being able to sort the problem. Luckily Thomas and his team were able to remove the old landing and rebuild in-line with the building and steps connecting. Work was swift and professional and the end result looks great as well as being both safe and solid.

Excellent quality work. Very polite. Good communication. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Has done two jobs for us now and next time we need stone work done he’ll be first on our list to do it.
